The blue one is the Space Stone, which we's previously seen powering the Tesseract. The Stones were repurposed from the comics (where they were originally known as Infinity Gems), and this was the first one that appeared in the MCU, first in Captain America: The First Avenger as a weapon of mass destruction used by HYDRA, and then used by Loki in The Avengers.
